Many Aphrodite
According to the speech Cotta, there were four:
1. Born Gemer of Uranus, its temple in Elis.
2. Born from sea foam, gave birth to Hermes, Eros second.
3. Daughter of Zeus and Dione, the wife of Hephaestus. She gave birth to Ares Anterosa.
4. Daughter of Cyprus and Syria, called Astarte, the wife of Adonis. Her shrine at Byblos.
